Made using Polartec® Powerstretch® and originally developed for NASA the Fourth Element Xerotherm garment is the ultimate base layer for use with a drysuit. The Xerotherm range is designed to be worn combined with another undersuit or on it's own with a neoprene drysuit.
Updated in 2018 with new women's and men's fits the Xerotherm garment traps a layer of air, which is a much better insulator that water, next to the skin keeping the wearer drier and more comfortable. The knit of the fabric produces a fast wicking effect where moisture is drawn out through the fabric along fine fibres and then spreads out over the surface which maintains the thin layer of air next to the skin. This action is so effective that sometimes divers will not notice minor suit leaks until after the dive.
Unrivaled by anything else on the market the Xerotherm represents the ultimate in base layer performance and has been to the top of Everest, down to the Titanic as well as being specified by FBI, Norwegian Navy and British Police Dive Teams.
